Hokuryu Sunflower Farm is easy to miss when you first start exploring the northern Japan map. It is not marked by a huge building or an obvious entrance. Instead, you'll know you're close when the scenery turns into a wide spread of bright yellow sunflowers. The farm sits in southern Hokubu, at roughly 0.7729, -0.6141. If you're planning several Playlist activities in one session, it's also worth saving your FH6 Credits for required cars rather than spending them on upgrades you won't use. A little preparation makes this stop much quicker. Finding the Farm Without Guesswork The easiest place to begin is Shikisai-no-oka, the colourful flower field in central Hokubu. From there, head southeast and follow the roads towards the lower part of the region. The farm is west of Irabuohashi Bridge, which gives you another useful reference if you're approaching from a different direction. You may also notice the Sunflower Charge street racing event nearby. That event is a handy marker on the map, especially if you're travelling from another part of the island and don't want to search every country lane. Don't worry about finding a small sign or a special gate. The fields are the giveaway. Once you're in the right area, the huge rows of sunflowers are difficult to miss. Staying on the roads is usually faster than cutting straight across the countryside, though an off-road car can make the trip more relaxed. Drive through the fields for a moment and the landmark discovery should trigger automatically. If it doesn't, move a little farther into the area rather than immediately opening the map and starting again. Completing the SunnySnap Challenge The farm becomes especially useful during the Summer Festival Playlist because it hosts the SunnySnap Photo Challenge. You'll need the 2013 Wuling Sunshine S, so check your garage before setting off. Drive the Wuling into the sunflower fields, then open Photo Mode and frame both the car and the surrounding flowers. There's no stunt, speed target or complicated camera trick involved. The vehicle requirement is the important part. If the challenge doesn't register, reposition the car deeper inside the farm and take another shot with plenty of sunflowers visible behind it. Completing SunnySnap gives you 2 Season Progress points and the Yellow Sports Sunglasses cosmetic. Those points can be useful when you're close to a Playlist reward tier, so the challenge is worth doing even if you're not collecting every landmark. You don't need to tune the Wuling Sunshine S, either. For this task, a stock car is perfectly fine. Save your upgrades for events where handling, acceleration or class rating actually matters. That's a better use of both garage space and money. Making the Visit More Efficient If you're already working through other seasonal events, treat Hokuryu Sunflower Farm as part of a wider route. Start at Shikisai-no-oka, drive southeast through southern Hokubu, stop at the farm, and then continue towards Irabuohashi Bridge or the Sunflower Charge event. This avoids repeated trips across the map. A versatile garage helps, too. Keep a few cars for road racing, dirt routes and cross-country travel, but don't feel pressured to buy the most expensive model available. Seasonal challenges often care more about a specific make or vehicle than outright performance. Things Players Often Get Wrong The most common mistake is searching around the central flower fields and assuming the farm is there. Shikisai-no-oka is only your starting reference; Hokuryu is farther southeast. Some players also reach the sunflower fields in a fast car, then forget to switch to the Wuling Sunshine S before taking the photograph. Others take a nice picture just outside the landmark boundary and wonder why nothing happens. Make sure the Wuling and the flowers are both inside the farm area. Once the discovery registers and the photo is accepted, you can move on with your Playlist route while keeping your Forza Horizon 6 Credits available for the next vehicle requirement.
