Black Ops 2 PS5 Is Trending for the Wrong Reason

Instead of celebrating the return of one of Call of Duty's most popular games, thousands of players are discussing a serious hacking issue affecting public multiplayer matches.

Within days of BO2 arriving on PlayStation, social media filled with reports of hacked lobbies, broken player stats, forced Prestige levels, and accounts becoming temporarily unusable.

The issue quickly pushed Black Ops 2 PS5, BO2 Hack, and Black Ops 2 Hacker into trending searches.

If you enjoy playing games, you can go to MMOexp buy Black Ops 2 Bot Lobbies and use the discount code "BYD" to enjoy an 8% discount.

What Does the Hack Actually Do?

According to player reports, hackers have been abusing modified multiplayer lobbies to interfere with normal gameplay.

Reported issues include:

✅ Forced Prestige changes

✅ Random stat modification

✅ Corrupted multiplayer progression

✅ Broken custom classes

✅ Account data failing to sync correctly

Some players even reported being unable to enter multiplayer after joining hacked lobbies until fixes were applied.

---

Who Is Most at Risk?

Most reports involve:

· Public Matchmaking

· Open Multiplayer Lobbies

· Sessions with unknown players

Private matches appear far less affected.

---

Is Your Account Permanently Damaged?

The good news is that most reported problems appear to affect multiplayer progression rather than permanently deleting PlayStation accounts.

Activision has already deployed backend fixes aimed at restoring affected accounts and reducing malicious activity.

However, players are still encouraged to avoid suspicious lobbies until additional protections are in place.

---

How to Avoid Hackers

Instead of simply hoping for the best, players recommend several precautions.

Leave Suspicious Matches Immediately

If everyone suddenly becomes Max Prestige or strange menus appear, leave the lobby.

Avoid Modded Lobbies

Never intentionally join sessions advertising XP hacks or unlock tools.

Install Every Update

Several backend fixes have already been released.

Report Suspicious Players

Community reports help identify new exploits more quickly.

---

Why Is BO2 Suddenly Popular Again?

Ironically, the hacking controversy has made Black Ops 2 even more popular.

Searches for:

· Black Ops 2 PS5

· BO2 PS5

· Black Ops 2 Hack

· Black Ops 2 Multiplayer

have surged as players try to understand what's happening.

At the same time, thousands of veterans have returned simply because BO2 remains one of the highest-rated Call of Duty games ever made.

---

Is BO2 Still Worth Playing?

Yes—but with some caution.

If you're playing private matches or with friends, the experience remains excellent.

If you're jumping into public multiplayer, it's worth staying alert until Activision continues strengthening server security.

For many players, buy BO2 Bot Lobbies still offers some of the best multiplayer maps and Zombies content in Call of Duty history.
